Progress & Performance Assessment
Failure to meet time and budget goals can pose a significant threat to the future of any organization. That is why conducting project audits during the execution phase of your project will ensure that your project is healthy and on track.
Aside from the immediate benefits, conducting Project Audits during key phases will assist in identifying what has gone well, and what needs improvement. This forensic analysis helps build your organization “success criteria” for future projects, and ensures mistakes are not repeated by supplying “Lessons Learned” reporting.
Enhance Overall Project Performance
Independent Project Audit/Review
There is only one chance to start a project off right. An independent review or audit of your project prior to the execution phase adds a unique perspective that can be the key component to your projects success.
Having an unbiased third party review your estimate or/and plan prior to commencing construction can sometimes shed light on “big misses” that could be detrimental to the future of your organization.

Project Definition Review Index (PDRI)
What is a PRDI Assessment?
The PDRI methodology provides a comprehensive assessment of scope definition. There are three types of assessment which cover all types of projects including Industrial, Building and Infrastructure including all sizes from small to mega projects. Templates are organized in three sections for systematic assessment of the following components:
- Basis of project decision – the business objectives and drivers
- Basis of design – processes and technical information required
- Execution approach – for executing the project construction and closeout
According to the Alliance for Construction Excellence:
PDRI is a comprehensive checklist of scope definition elements presented in a score sheet format that allows an integrated project team to critically evaluate the status of an industrial, infrastructure or building project during front-end planning and determine a score that evaluates its level of definition early enough to do something about the gaps identified. PDRI provides numerous benefits to the project team including better team alignment, risk assessment/gap analysis, progress monitoring, and benchmarking basis. To be used effectively, the tool should ideally be facilitated in the team environment by a neutral facilitator.
The primary benefit of PDRI is to simplify complexity and provide an understandable, numeric score which is immediately actionable.
The objectives met by the PDRI include:
- A thorough vetting of the team’s planning efforts to date
- Discovery learning, leading to better team alignment
- Generation of a good ‘planning gaps’ list to facilitate future action
- Better understanding of project team issues and partners
- Development of a Rating Index score, which is indicative of planning progress
